Wednesday Open Match. 4th July 2012

A very muggy day down the lake today with brisk winds and then flat calm. 16 anglers turned up hoping for a good days fishing. As you will tell by the results the fish seamed to be hanging around the mouth of the little lake and Chris Telling fishing on peg 8 took advantage of the fish in front of him to take the win and peg king of ‘end peg’ Michael Corsini 😀
Second today after a bit of time away from the lake was Jon Walker fishing from peg 9. Third place went to Paul Jay who managed to draw another flyer from the bag and make it work.

I got soaked walking the dog this morning, so another soaking tonight wont be a problem for me.
Had a ball of paste out the freezer for 4 hours now and it’s still rock solid! Might have to make some fresh up.
Just had a look at the BBC weather site and alledgedly it is going to stop raining in he Oxford area at 3pm for the day, we will see.
bbc also said no rain in bracknell today but its hardly stopped
