Please observe the net limits of 75lb per keepnet as any infringement over that weight will see the net weight subject to a penalty by how much the weight is over 75lb.

Please keep large and small fish separate and a separate net for silvers only is required.

Easter Festival 2023

Due to lack of interest John has decided to not run a festival this Easter.

There will be however 3 matches run over Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.

These will be our popular split carp and silvers matches.

What this space for times and cost.

Firstly I would like to wish all our visitors and their families a happy new year, and we hope 2023 brings you all good health and happiness.

The second match of the year was held on a cold windy day at Rolfslake and the 8 anglers were going to have to work for their fish it ended up.

The winner today was John Bennet who swapped between pole and bomb to catch his 5 big carp to double figures on corn which went 60-05. Very close in second was John Draper who fished down the left hand edge by the pipe on peg 10 and was rewarded with 7 carp fishing pole and pellet/ corn for 59-06.

Top silver’s weight was Dick Cullen on peg 14 who caugh close in on maggots and had 105 fish for 10-05.
