What a hot day down the lake. The fish are in spawning mode and fishing was rock hard. Paul Jay even blanked on peg 7 :O
The lake is covered with white willow also and there was hardly any wind today to to make things harder.
Today’s winner and only angler to break the ton barrier was Brian Hall fishing from peg 22. He caught on the meat down the edge on the right. Well done

The Carp are certainly a bit frisky at present. Every now and then half a dozen of them try and leap onto your platform, makes me jump.
Thats twice in three days I have had a Carp of 19lb 4oz, one day I will do a 20.
It was nice to see Mr Clegg and Co at the lake, I hope it fishes a bit better for them today. Mr. Clegg certainly had a “smashing” time!
