  • Looks like the Roach must have done a vanishing act again. What happened JB? Guessing 28 & 30 were left out due to previous low results, so Pat with on 6 was Doug R on 5 or 4? (unless he was sat on Freds lap!) Just a minor point but not sure Steve & Doug are on 61pts, 41pts after rd4 so a stunning performance to get 20pts for this round.

  • Top Carp section peg is currently peg 24 with 31pts from 162lb 12oz. Look to avoid peg 22,14pts (suprising) Top Silvers peg is No. 38 with 31pts from 58lb10oz, look to avoid peg 28 with just 7pt from 4 matches(includes x1 not drwan)

    • Who said 28 was the one to avoid, well done Doug. Doubled the total weight off 28 for the previous 4 rounds but it does still have the lowest section points return. Looks like it’s warming up nicely for the final round, weather wise too. Good luck to all. Could fish myself if a peg filler needed.

      • Hi Mick.

It was a weird old day! EVERY single roach from the small lake went for a swim in the big lake for a change. The reason why….? I haven’t got a clue

        • I’m staring to think my flavoured maggies could be working thier magic or maybe they just fled in terror as JB approached peg 38!

          • No idea Mick. I mean i’ve seen roach etc move around but never like that

you’d have thought there would be a few left behind!

John did catch 60lb of carp though that don’t count

Gotta feel for steve palmer a bit, he drew flier 18 when he couldn’t fish for the ice, then drew 36 which he won from in round 3, and every fish goes for a swim into my peg 😛

  • Blimey, that was a quick correction on the Peg No. front. Well done administrqtor!

  • Mick, you might want to speak to JB ASAP as I cant fish this match. However my partner yesterday – Kev Simpson wants to fish again and for carp

  • Got to make a quick cuppa so I can settle down and watch the lake on the Big Fish off, ITV4 20.00. I might be able to pick up a few tips.

  • Dog roach is now 8oz apparently

  • Fishing down the edge on peg 18 to avoid carp lol. Yeah always a great idea 🙂 do these guys fancy fishing some wed opens haha
