Rolfslake Easter Festival Day 1

Today saw 21 anglers gather for the Rolfslake Easter Festival  on a cold rainy day in Oxford. The anglers are split into three 7 peg sections with the angler who wins gets 1 point going down to 7 points for last.

The angler with the lowest points score wins the festival and in the event of a draw it goes to total weight.

The day started well with anglers in all three sections catching carp early but after two hour the bites dried up.

Michael Corsini the 2017 Champion was catching well in C section but losing a few fish as well.

Andy Ray mentioned in B section was putting a well deseved bag of carp together but it was by no means easy.

In the tough A section.most anglers had caught at least one carp so the result would be very tight.

Report to follow.
