I will add an hourly update on how the anglers are doing. First update will be 12.40 (ish)
The weather down the lake today is warmer than yesterday and the Sun is trying to poke out from the clouds. It rained quite a bit in the night which in turn stopped the frosts.
Update 1. 12.48pm
Plenty of carp feeding today which is good news for the anglers. Only 2 people have not caught a carp as of yet, Dave Wightman and Phil Powell. Pat Pritchard has just landed his first carp but has been catching plenty of silvers on peg 35.

As John was updating me more carp were being caught so check back in an hour for another update. Looking good so far.
Update 2. 1.42pm.
They have had some drizzle and a lot of cloud but the sun has just come out and its brightening up.
Clive Pritchard on peg 6 has caught a double figure pike which is unusual. Dave Wightman still has no carp on peg 10 and Pat on 35 has managed another carp. Phil has also managed to catch 2 carp in the last hour. Things are not that much different as the fishing has slowed right down.

Jonny on 16 has 6 carp
Mark on 26 has 5 carp.
Section 2.
John on peg 2 has 5 carp.
Paul and Chris on peg 7 and peg 27 have 3 carp.

Steve and Matt on peg 38 and 40 have 4 carp

The wind has picked up and there is a nice breeze on the lake now. Dave Wightman on peg 10 is still the only person without a carp. Phil is getting carp but taking ages to land them with his girly elastic(as John said lol) A fair few people are hooking and loosing carp to various snags on their pegs and foul hookers.

The fish seem to be moving towards the big lake bowl. Dave Wightman has managed to catch one carp. People are starting to catch again as I was speaking to John. Are lot of foul hookers are giving the anglers headaches.

The pike will count, its in his silvers net eating all the other silvers he has no doubt.

had to take brandon to somerset for football today so couldnt fish this years i notice john bennets also missing give him my regards as no doubt youre sat on that bench together like waldorf and sadler out the muppets

Thanks Mark, Are you sure, Chris has draw 35 today. I think Dai Thomas on 21 is a good bet today and Clive on 8 would be good for a few quid. You never know with Rolfslake though do you. 😀
