Very windy down the lake again today
17 anglers turned up today on a very very windy day down the lake. It was windy yesterday as well but hopes of it dying down were shattered at 7.30 when branches started dropping off the tree’s as the wind picked up again.
Before everyone else got to the lake John had a bit of a problem with a cormorant. He had been eating the fish from the lake and then having a bath in the salt dips…

Pretty much everyone today was going to be suffering from the wind in one way or another.

I expect John will find a way to chase off the flying black plague!
If it works Mick then use it. More importantly if you have confidence in it then deffo use it.
I tried meat down the track but it never worked for me but Ian who was on the peg the day before had 5 at the start on the meat down the track.
Once the wind is gone I expect John will be back to winning….watch out 😀
Well done Simon on another victory for the bloggers, as for Bennett getting back to winning ways don’t bet on it as i will have a surprise for him tomorrow and i will get back to 1-1 as not even he can draw flyers all year long plus i could not catch as small fish as i did last time.
The improved PIRATE is back now and gunning for John.
