Also the dates are now out for the winter league, the format is teams of 3 over 6 rounds, if you are interested in fishing as a team or you are an individual, please register we can make up teams with spare anglers, also if you are not able to fish all the rounds please register because we can use you as a substitute in the series

Today saw only 6 anglers down the lake due to the adverse weather. The anglers had a real mixed bag today with Heavy rain, Thunder and lightening. The lake level has rose 2 inches since Sunday John tells me.
Todays winner and ABOUT TIME was John Draper who also managed a PB carp of 20lb 8oz also. John Fished 9 meters down the right hand edge and caught on pellet and corn. A big well done John.
Second today was Dai Thomas on peg 24 who had 6 fish in the first hour but could not keep them coming.
Completing the fram was Lake owner John Bennett on peg 32 and had a real struggle but managed to snare a few fish for 3rd place.

Today a Minutes Silence was held for Marks Chards father who sadly passed away last week. To him Rolfs was a very special place. All at Rolfs pass on there Condolences and our thoughts are with you.

 

 

TUMBLEY BAY AC MATCH. SUNDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER 2012

Horrible day down the lake today. It rained from start to finish of the match, it was freezing cold. The weigh boards were all soaking wet and not many stuck around for the weigh in.
Tumbley Bay AC only had 6 members fishing today so it was left to John Bennett to fill up the lake. We went in a separate pools to the club members also.
Today’s winner Malc Doyle on form peg 6 put a decent weight on the board after a few bad results from peg 6. Malc lost about 20 fish before landing his first one. Well done Malc.
Sorry about the lack of names, everyone just disappeared at the end of the match due to the weather.
