Wow that is mega hard. 19, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28 all blanked?
Saying that, 5 guys to my right at Gold blanked and I had one bite with a minute to go lol
You forgot to mention William tanned your ass at the next peg for the section with 27lb lol
ha ha nice try. I also forgot to mention William had the winner oppsite him with 102lb 😛
LOL
Winter fishing is shocking, unless your lucky……. It does question why we go?
I done 174 mile round trip for 7oz yesterday! (mainly small fish)
Quality lol Was that a semi? Roll on Easter!!
You should have fished double red maggot!!!!!
I came to that conclusion and knocked it on the head Chris…… i’d rather stay at home!
ha tell the truth….the missus takes you to cooking lessons instead LOL!!
That was the Saturday mate, I will post the curry recipes on the site if you like they were handsome. 90 mile round trip, 7 hours in the cold and £20 for a cheque book!! LOL!! awesome
The winner was on middle lake matey, peg 78 Will was on syndicate with you!
dawg, bit of advice for you, get your facts right before you start typing 😉
Gold 1 – 60
Middle 61-100
Syndicate 101-141
nice try though
oh, what a mistake
can’t believe Will fished the wrong lake….. 😛
Oh dear, someone’s biting badly! Sorry mate thought Gold lake was 45 pegs not 60, must of changed the pegging from when i used to frequent the place. Middle used to start at 40 summit and finish at 80 odd…Still I got the first bit right and the rest gave a good wrap round as the rod hasn’t stopped whacking my leg! 😉 Lighten up Andy!
ha I dont bite mate. Bit of banter keeps the engine running
Are you pegging easter festival for 24 or 27?
I thought the Festival starts on the 30th?
As I drove to work this morning I wondered how you had all got on, thought to myself “Car park bank would be good for plenty of Silvers action.” How wrong I was, most suprised it fished as poorly at it seems to have. Mind you it was flippin cold!
Good points for Steve & Derek who have now got a few points lead with just a couple of rounds to go.
lol thats not a bite. Was just clearing it up. I’m too cold to bite (bit like the fish!)
Yeah good old JR crammed loads more pegs in on Gold
It used to be 46 to 83 I think on middle now its 61-10, he’s actually removed a few pegs
old 94 on syndicate would have actually not been that bad a peg (ish)
61-100 before any smart arse points it out 😉
Just noticed that Mike Corsini A8 got 8pts for his 5lb 9oz and John Cowling A13 got 9pts for his 5lb 9oz (did they have a fight for 3rd in section?)
And Steve Palmer B17 got 9pts for his 10lb 7oz whilst Andy Rayment also got 9pts for his 3lb 12oz off B16,
am I missing something?
Input error on my part. I put Michael as 8 because he was on peg 8. Don’t know what I did with the other one. Thanks Mick.
do you need an auditor Si?
happy to help. Reasonable rates
I think I do. I am not good with numbers at all.
The weights are probably wrong too lol 😀
spotted another mistake – my stand in had 60lb and got 11 points 😉
Just remember, Baby ONE due April FOUR dont turn up late for that one!
yeh they need an independant auditor not involved with the league
ah, actually, you’d be perfect 😛
I’m pretty pleased with my stand in’s results, DNW means I made the right decision. Blank caddy blank, Blank caddy blank…….
to be fair, he didnt really do any worse than you have been doing lol
i have no interest in blanking mate not my cup of tea. give me a shout when its 20 degree C
then why join the league you fool lol
did nobody tell you its not 20oC in January?
I got confused by the term “Spring”.
over and out.
guess it doesnt take much to confuse a pen pusher 😛
As a pen pusher myself it is indeed very easy to get confused, every Pen has two ends, choices choices!
Hey Phil, your travelling partner put in a sterling performance by the way, that info you gave must have been bang on. Only kidding mate felt sorry for the lads blanking its no fishing match when it’s like that absolutely socking
Lol I didn’t help him hence the result! Seriously though that was tough and i’ve seen 24 blank a few times before. Even blood and joker might not have got you a fish but it’s the best chance you have. I must say though i haven’t blanked at rolfs ever, i’ve had some bad days but always caught…so far! lol
Practice for the semi…… The Semi is this weekend! It will be tough.
Fred if I fished red maggot, I would have had blanked!
Team fishing does make me normally moist, but this year it has been shocking due to the weather, and semi’s down to 9 teams! it will be “knocked on the head” very soon me thinks!!
Phil your never say never!!! They may bite you in the a$$
It can always happen mate, it nearly did once but i’m good at scratching! This is the time of year to do it though!
Good at scratching your ass lol
yep hehe!
Our semi on Kenneth and Avon last year was 8 teams. Glad we chose gold instead of Milton Keynes lol I don’t envy you boys
The Kenneth and Avon? Is that the posh part of the K and A? LOL Can’t believe you are both still pratting about with all that rubbish. I walked away from that many years ago when i watched the way it was going with young eye’s and ear’s and don’t miss it at all. I miss fishing wag n mag on the river but to be honest it never went under enough anyway! Jack it in boy’s It’s a well flogged dead horse.
to be fair our winter league is a cracker usually
6×80 peg matches, and 6 decent sized practise matches
Unless I travel 100 mile, in winter the alternative around my area is to fish a 4-8 peg carp match bomb and corn and go to sleep
