John has asked me to ask the anglers fishing this weekends pairs match to please bring a silvers keepnet as the ones down the lake currently need repairing so as to not loose valuable fish through holes in the nets.
Also there will be an open match on Saturday as the lake is now virtually ice free and the draw is 9.30 fish 10.30 – 3.30

Weather forecast I’ve seen Andy, says its 2 degrees over night on Saturday in Oxford so not that bad, now the ice has melted it should settle down a bit (hopefully)………I still wouldnt fancy the little lake TBH, mind you the last time I said that Ian McCulloch had 175lb off peg2 LOL

on radio this morning it said a country wide light frost sunday morning, which really cheered me up no end.

surprisingly impressed by the quality of the stuff in general. The hooks are awesome, quite a limited range, ie all carp based but they look spot on.

As for peg10 it was hardly a fishing match, 14 fished and 6th weighed in 2lb. I’m taking a bag of concrete to fill peg10 in on sunday LOL
On first match I nearly drowned myself when I drew 10. Id seriously run to it on sunday. May not win match, but guarenteed good points as you will not blank
well mild today and supposed to be a good strong mild wind tomorrow
