Rolfslake Wednesday Rover Match 31st July 2013.
Middy man Andy Quarmby makes it two matches in a week.
With lake owner John Bennett this week taking a well earnt break it was left to me Eddie to run the match down the lake today and with a low attendance it was decided to have a walk off match where the angler could choose their own peg.
With carp showing all over the lake it was a difficult choice for some and very easy for others especially Middy sponsored Andy Quarmby who today chose peg 8 in the gap between the big and small lake. The final result would show it was easy for Andy but it was not with Andy losing many fish down the edge by the bush and also down the middle but in between he managed to catch big carp to upper double figures by fishing pellet hookbait feeding pellet and after 5 hours was only 1 carp off his second double ton in two weeks with his final weight of 195-03 { well done Andy}.
The battle for second place was a tight one with Paul Jay just edging Mick Jones out with his weight of 155-11 off peg 32 to Mick’s 144-06 off peg 5.
Results.

Thanks for reading John, Simon and Eddie
I had an enjoyable day on the T Bag.
Hooked 17 landed 16, a decent converstion rate.
Dad had 12 T Bag Carp for an etimated 120lb (not bad for an 80yr old!)
