  • Well done, Riddler.
Another cracking day at the lake.

  • you’ll soon put a stop to all these weights Mick dont you worry!

  • you managed to get on the ‘secret’ match then? ha

    peg 10 for you Mick

    peg 10 for you Mick

    AKA
    NO
    CARP
    BAY!!!!

  • I like peg 10 too Mick, only had it once in summer and had some proper whales last hour, you were on 13 that day so not far away lol

  • You had a quiet match Andy the angler next to you never said a word all match lol.
Well done on your catch and it was a good think the rope was a long way away on 10 or I could of been in use.

  • I even offered him a biscuit and he didnt say anything

Ill never understand Rolfs until the day I die! first 40 minutes it was solid, got 4, lost 3 missed about 6 bites, feeding, fizzing bonanza, then noone got a bite for nearly 3 hours in our area then last hour it was feeding rampage again

people say they move off but I dont think they went anywhere they just simply had a quick starter then had main course 3.5 hours later!

I thought you were gonna blank at one point Eddie, you should have beaten Jon you were only 19lb behind?

  • Our matches have been really close this year.
I thought about packing up but I was determined to catch a carp after losing a few . The bites I had were crazy and I could not believe how I missed so many and really thought I was behind John by 200lb but he lost as many as me.
I will get it sorted out soon then I will be competitive with hopefully a good draw as last 3 matches 24 22 and14 before it was fish soup.

  • I had the same eddie I was missing bites that Steve wonder would be getting dragged in from!

Never missed as many at rolfs it was doing my head in as I knew a crazy last hour and I could have easily won

But not to be old boy!!!

Lesson learnt – take some meat!

  • My tip for the day is stop putting peg 11 in lol How painful to watch 34,32, 8 and 9 all catching and knowing you are wasting your time in even fishing!

  • You had choice of 11 or 10 but people keep choosing 11, but yeah still painfull

You all set for manor dude? Hope you like it cosy!!

  • Dunno if you know but they banned feeding floating baits on festival this year, it’s also banned on sat and sun practise opens this weekend

You can put em on hook but no feeding

  • Madness! Why would you sit on 11? I’d be gutted if i drew 13 with someone on 11! Got a few more hooks to tie and some new floats to paint and get me bait! Yeah heard banning feeding floaters, i wouldnt allow ’em as hookbait either! Hope the weather holds out and it turns into a shallow fishing fest! More likely blowing a gale all week and freezing cold lol

  • Will be good, just praying not too many turn up but I reckon 120+

Never mind 11 rolfs, imagine 40 guys on boundary

    Island 16, windmill 15, middle 6, ash 18, windmill 22

    Not that I’m greedy LOL!!!!

  • No idea about peg 11. I’d definitely go on 10 at least it has won matches and can throw up donkeys down left

    what bait? 2mms, 4mms,6mms and 8mms? Lol

  • LOL! Looking forward to 5 days fishing and hopefully a bit of bagging!

  • Be some weights

Only thing is f1s were spawning like mad on Monday when I was a manor. Exactly same as last year they gorged on spawn and it was proper hard going

    We’ll see

    You fishing Sunday match?

  • No i got a league match on club pool tbf, worms?

  • Be awesome if not packed

meat or worm, mainly mirrors and commons on club

Across, down track, and edge – if spare peg

  • Looking forward to it, i like club pool but the temperature has halfed from the other day! Another year of maggots worms and pellet i reckon, good cold water baits

  • Club is prob my fave.

Come out of work today couldn’t believe how cold it felt

Gonna be 14-16 at weekend so should be ok though…..
