Rolfslake Christmas match 20th December 2015
Today saw a good attendance for Rolfslake’s Christmas match and the 18 anglers were hopeful for a good draw and a few fish.
There were 3 sections with first prize being for the top weight overall and then the top carp weight and silvers weight payout in each section.
Top overall today was Ernie Malyon who was fishing peg 16 on the motorway bank and Ernie fished the tip to catch 4 big carp to 15lb in his winning weight of 51-08.
In A Section the top carp weight was caught by Derek Hammond with 34-12 and the top silvers weight was caught by Steve Waters with 8-03.
In B Section Doug Hill caught the top carp weight with a last gasp carp of 11-12 and John Bennett won the silvers pool with 7-01.
In C Section with Ernie winni ng the overall frame it was left to Jeff Bond to win the carp top weight with his weight of 38-08 and as an added bonus won the silvers pool as well with his silvers weight of 1-05.
