Thanks for reading John, Simon and Eddie
Are we to take it that Malc turned up too late to weigh in?
Hope no one got sun burnt, I’ve got my waterproofs ready for tomorrow!
No carp bay fished well Mick I look forward to being in there again tomorrow.
See if we can make it 6 in a row.
Which do you fancy, 10 or 11?
You did too well off 13 last week.
havent sat on 10 yet that will do. Save me getting a different rig out of the box can use last weeks.
A longer walk but it looks like it was well rested over the weekend.
be lucky if we see 22 turn out in this weather, forecast for tomorrow is no better.
Nevermind, it will never be as cold as that “spring” league, that was something else!!
At least it’s only “light rain” most of the day
I’m hoping for a peg out of the wind or rain, 6 will do nicely (you can look at it as you walk past.
I dont know where 6 is……..
is it between 10 and 13? if it isnt then i dont know where it is.
Follow the dust cloud as I rush round there.
Gay boy you only fished the spring league when it was medium cold then you went home with your toys leaving the men to fight it out. The last round was 3x colder then when you ‘fished’. 2 seconds to freeze a landing net
Super jasper saved the day!
Yep. Drew NCB again. Knew I would, going well this year. I’ve had 28, 29, 13, 11, 13, 10. Unbelievable.
Mike looked like he enjoyed himself on 13 with an angler either side for a change… crawling up his line they were!
you jinxed yourself, I do have to admit thats some consistancy you showing there
Mikey was confused Mark – he spent first 3 hours wondering why he didnt have 14 empty pegs like Monday.
He didn’t have a rig deep enough for 13!
I tried to jinx myself into drawing peg 7 by leaving my rods at home.
Last two pegs in the bag 10 and 7.
What did I get? There’s a surprise!
It’s worth going to the Lake just to see your face at the draw bag!
At least you had a reasonable day yesterday, could rename NCB as Bream Corner.
Might see you next Weds.
Cant do next wed.
Hoping for the 12th.
Someone else can have 10 for a change. About time Eddie had it!
Oh dear, I have just changed a days hols on the 10th to have the 5th off instead. I might get 10 now (Think I better change it back again!)
Rambo is going on the 12th so thats one decent peg out of the bag already.
ill be there next week Mick. I bet mr newbolds face was a picture lol
If looks could kill…………
nearly fell to my knees…..
if i pay £30 a match can i draw twice?
probably draw 10 then 13 anyway
make it 45 quid and take out 28 as well please
Be fair, you had the choice of 2 swims as it was.
Ever thought of a freelance day with the pensioners?
ill be due a day in ncb Mick dont worry
either that or the flat calm area of the lake like 18 when winds blowing to 40, 40 when winds blowing to 18 and then 16 when winds blowing back into 40
You looked like you enjoyed the day when you had it on Good Friday.
I did actually, that 13oz perch bought me 10 pints!! 😛
drawing 40 when the wind is blowing to 18 is a heart breaker. 40 can be sensational on the right day
zero wind last night in NCB
allot of rain tho f me.
joking aside it is gutting when you see the wind howling into 40/38 and you draw 18/20 etc
On monday I could have thrown all my tackle in the stream and gone home and beat the missus up (i dont have a cat to kick)
Sue did well from 38, she nearly had a ton
only 2 times I year I saw the infamous words ‘i would do the proverbial to a tramp for peg 38’ and that was one of em, surf board.com weather down the edge
Third place and only one biggie off a win, what was wrong on Monday?
lol another shocker
i still have no ideas what any of the weights were
What weights?
from yesterday
what i mean mick is i’d be on 40 day before in flat calm death sauna peg, had 7 for 105lb last 30 minutes down to platform peg 1, so when saw wind howling down there on monday proper fancied those pegs to empty it
so promoptly drew 16 nearly as far away as possible! lol
promptly even
Derek won with !33lb(?) Paul 2nd 126lb(?)
I had a shocker in 4 got so humped of with myself a packed up 30 minutes early having trashed another rig.
Dream peg 4……… I drew it once.
You we on 2 super quarm on a mug fest in the 80 degree heat. Won the match in the first 90 minutes.
had it 2ce in 4 years
peg 5 1ce
Peg 6 2ce
Peg 7 2ce
Peg 8 1ce
Peg 40, 5645 times
what??!! thats criminal mr Jones
Roach & Perch everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. Couldn’t get away from the blighters and when I did I got beat up. 2 pole sections got stuck together so had to get the spare out, spilt my Tea and my fags got wet!
lol good day then Mick? 😛
Having packed up I sat behind JB on 32 and saw more Carp caught in the last 10 minutes than I had seen all day.
Also dropped a plummet in and lost that. When will someone invent one that floats, I’ve lost loads over the years!
get yourself a maver, sections never get stuck.
They did for me.
I remember that day well. Dont get me started on mugging…! lol got my appraisal in half hour I want to stay calm 🙂
it was legal then.
inspired me to give it a go. Tried it once, then it was band.
typical
Self Appraisals are best, I always do well on mine!
Good luck.
I have no idea where those pegs are……
Middy poles don’t stick together 😉 lol
Self appraisal went well mick, apparently I’m excelling and deserve a big pay rise and a Ferrari. Funny that…
