A very cold day down the lake.
Today saw 10 hardy anglers fish the Sunday Open, who were hoping the carp were still in a feeding mood.
Today’s winner making it 2 wins in 2 matches in 2019 was lake owner John Bennett who was fishing peg 38 in the small lake. Fishing a combination of bomb and pole fishing corn and pellet John caught 10 carp to 19lb for his overall winning weight of 97-06 (well done JB).
Winning the seperate carp pool was Steve Stayte who was on peg 34 and Steve caught 3 carp for 21-04.
Winning the silver’s pool was Pete Archer who amassed 8-13 of skimmers and roach from peg 14.
