The lake generaley fished hard over the weekend, with the extra water going in at least 6ins up , also a heavy shail shower on saturday did not help,the saturdayknock up.

On sunday freemasons angling society visited for there first match of the year, they were greeted with the first proper frost of the year, no wind,floating leaves, and then very bright sunshine far from perfect conditions, this was reflected in the weights with the carp slow to feed.
