New year Starts here. 2012.
The new year brings a new results board. The 2011 results are still available, hold your mouse over 2012 and it will appear below. The same goes for the new 2012 Peg Kings Board.
A few were down the lake yesterday to get things under-way.
Mick Jones was on peg 16 and had a 3 carp along with 17lb of skimmers for a total of 52-0, well done Mick.
John Bennett crossed to the lake from his home peg 24 to fish peg 14 and managed 21-4. Also weighing in 21-4 was Mick Chappell fishing from peg 19.

All the recent good weather tempted me out.
Glad I did as it was good to get some fresh air in my lungs!
Lots of bites from the Roach and Perch with a couple of bonus big skimmers to maggot on the 5m line.
Got my x3 Carp on 4 maggots (2 red, 2 bronze) at 20m.
The 17lb 4ozer really made my day.
I believe that makes me the current lake king (never been able to say that before. Picture change, Si?!), should last til Wednesday I expect.
Looking forward to the rest of the year.

Christmas is over, it’s back to work time now!

Yes fantastic thank you. I will be down the lake on Sunday for round 5 of the winter league. Cant wait. C section for me so I’m hoping for a few. I bet it freezes before then though 🙁

It was open to all but it seems like the youngsters were still getting over the night before (Kids today, no stamina!)

I may have been deposed after a 3 day coup by Jolly King John but it looks like my Silver reign will last out til the weekend.

3 lost monster perch and me trying to swing in a 1lb + roach cost me that title but i will be back.
I use to swing in 1lb Roach in Denmark but never in England, I can only assume your line wasn’t that light.
Shame about the big Perch though. That would have made the day worthwhile on it’s own.
