  • Thanks for the invite Neil.
An enjoyable day despite my pitiful performance.
Hope to see you again soon.

  • Well done on your first double ton Mr Draper. Lots more now to follow!

  • Looking across the lake towards peg 14 for a change obviously suited you Paul. Peg 25 Peg King. Well done Buddy.

  • Yes Mick, looking AT 14 (instead of being on it) made a pleasant change (even if I needed a loudhailer to speak to anyone) …. nice to fish 25 for my first time and managed, just on the whistle, a new PB carp of 18.4.0 and landed it only a couple of minutes before the 15min overtime period.
really enjoyed the match … and well done to the guy on 13 as he fished it wonderfully (hopefully I can do the same on it one day!) 🙂

    Great day out!!

    • Getting closer to a 20lber.
Hope to see you soon Buddy.

    • lol the guy on 13 was sacking until I had to unfortunately tell him he was breaking the rules by holding his rig 1″ under the surface and mugging, then the poor soul caught slapping his rig – I had to tell him that was banned too lol

in his defense the last time he went it was allowed so it happens and he was quite upset after as he felt bad

good old Jon D gave me a right tonking – I couldnt catch a cold at the moment

  • Was aware he was fishing up in the water (but not that he was breaking rules) … anyway, 140lb+ and you “couldn’t catch a cold” – wish I had that problem!! 🙂

  • Ha he had 200lb next peg and 200lb opposite

I honestly thought you had more than me as well, you had 5-6 weighers in the first hour or so

  • ha 140lb is a big weight anywhere else but I had a 22lb a 18 and 2 x16 which is 55-60 on 4 fish

  • Had a few early on but then I lost quite a few foul hookers … then they came ‘up’ and I nicked a couple on the drop (again, had problem with foul hookers) … maybe if I could hook them in the mouth then I could have 140lb .. I wish!! 🙂

  • I had 6 in the edge for about 85lb….but 4 were foul hooked lol

I had a few at 6m but some were fouled

    basically i had a v frustrating day

  • I think we all heard that!! 🙂

  • sometimes when the sun and the moon align…bad things happen lol

and tbh when Neil said id had 140lb I thought he was winding me up, didnt feel like I caught anything but then 30lb of bream and 75lb in 4 fish is 100lb as silly as it sounds

  • Come on Eddie get the Peg Kings updated .. I’ve a feeling I might get on it (for once) … make a change to see my name in lights rather than at the bottom!! 🙂
