The lake is starting to produce the big weights .

Today saw the weather a little cooler  just of late which continued to keep the big carp feeding

The 11 anglers were split in to 2 sections with A section expected to produce the big weights and it did.

The main battle was between John on peg 5 and Andy Quarmby on aquarium peg 8.

Both the anglers predominently fished paste short feed pellet and both were rewarded with big fish to 18lb .

At the end of 5 hours Andy just won the section and match with his weight of 283-12 to John’s 251-02 but both fished a great match even losing many fish.

In B section there was lots of activity from feeding fish but not too close in, so it took a while to get going.

The winner of this section was me Eddie on peg 26 who caught big fish late in my weight of 118-10.

In second place was Matt Mowlen who caught fish to 19lb in his weight of 74-09 ( well done Matt).
