Only a few anglers turned up for saturdays match, so we decided to have a walk off and reduced the pools to an affordable £15, we will carry on with this for the next few weeks in an effort to help anglers strugling with there finances as we all are.

Another Wet day down the lake. Is there no end to the rain…
Malc Doyle had arranged an open match for today. 12 anglers turned up and within minutes it was snowing again. Every weekend has been rubbish weather so far this year, hopefully the weather will turn soon.
Despite the weather everyone was in high spirits and the draw got underway.

WITH THE PUMP RUNNING SINCE TUESDAY WE ARE WINNING THE BATTLE WITH FLOOD WATER AND THANKS TO PAUL JAY AND MIKEY WHO WHEELED LOADS OF GRAVEL AND CHIPPINGS ROUND THE LAKE, THE SWIMS AND THE PATHS MADE LIFE A LOT EASIER FOR THE ANGLERS WHO TURNED UP . SURPRISINGLY THERE WAS NO ICE ON THE LAKE, ALTHOUGH THE WATER WAS INCREDIBLE COLD WHICH MADE THE FISHING VERY HARD.
