Rolfslake Wednesday Open 16Th January

Rolfslake is land of the Giants in today’s match.

Today saw a few of the big Rolfslake treasures make an appearance in the match.

Winning his 3rd match in a row and the last person to catch 100lb in 2018 and the first in 2019 was lake owner John Bennett.

With today’s low attendance being a walk off John drew winter form peg 14 to catch his fish.

John fished a combination of pellet with corn and maggot hookbaits to catch his 9 carp to 21-06 in his total winning weight of 106-00 (well done JB).

Just a small fish for John of 21-06

Continuing his very good run of silver’s fishing was Mick Jones who was also undefeated in 2019 who put together a great bag of 11-12 roach.

Mick Jones

Mick currently holds the top 4 silver’s weight down the lake this winter topped with his best weight of 29lb.

Just my small common of 15lb
