I was on peg 34 and I lost the biggest ever fish I have seen at rolfs,it was a huge common in perfect condition. I had its head and shoulders in the net I used last Wednesday netting big doubles to 19lbs without problem, 3 times I tried to shovel it inbut the bulk of the fish would not fit, and as soon as I tried to lift it from the water it fell out backwards until it transferred the hook to the landing net, It looked like the same fish that jon walker caught at 27lbs a few years ago, also I caught 3 small carp you could pick up with one hand, a promising sign for the future.

There is a silvers match on Saturday down the lake where the silvers fishing has been really good recently with two big weights of bream at 80lb and this week Steve Waters recorded a 65lb net.
