Double ton for todays winner.
Todays open saw some new anglers visit Rolfslake which pushed the attendance to double figure.
It was a warm day but towards the end the dark clouds threatened rain but it never happened.
The anglers were spread over both parts of the lake with the pleasure anglers occupying pegs 18 and 22 who had already caught quite a few carp by the time the match started.
Todays match was dominated by end pegs as these were the top 4 weights and the winner today Gordon Worrell caught a double ton and a PB weight to win todays match.
Gordon fished at short range using pellet and paste hookbait feeding pellet to catch his top weight, with big fish to upper doubles boosting his weight ( well done Gordon).
Todays winner Gordon Worrell ( Top Tackle).

John has a reminder to all visiting anglers that your keepnets and landing nets must be laid out to dry prior to the match, and must not be put in until 15 minutes before the match starts.
Also as a polite reminder the net limits have been.reduced to 85lb to protect the fish and must not be exceeded.
Thanks for reading John, Eddie and Simon.
