Rolfslake 2nd Night Match. 5th June 2015.

20130501_140816

Spawning fish slow down the night action

Tonights night match was fished by only 8 anglers and with a mild start to the match getting colder as it got later did not help the fishing.

Tonights winner was lake regular Andy Quarmby {Middy } who was fishing little used peg 36 in the small lake. Andy fished a combination of long pole shallow and a short 6 metres line fishing pellet and feeding 4mm pellet to keep his carp coming and even lost over 17 carp that were foul hooked. After five hours Andy managed to put 118-04 on the scales with fish to 19lb for yet another win {well done Andy}.

Colmic Open Day tomorrow 6th June.

Tomorrow down at Rolfslake tomorrow you will see Colmic sponsored anglers Chris Telling and Frank Donachie and possibly more of the team who will have on display a wide selection of Colmic products .

You will be able to try out the latest equipment from Colmic in a fishing enviroment from seat boxes to poles and rods and reels. These anglers are very knowledgeable on most fishing situations and all of the Colmic range, so why not pop down the lake to see the guys and try some new fishing tackle.

The guys will be down the lake from 9.30 till 5 and it would be great to see all visitors and their families and they can have a fish as well.

So if you are one of the left over anglers from tonights night match or are fishing the open tomorrow pop down a bit earlier a say hi to the Colmic guys.
