  • End peg Andy strikes again, well done Buddy.
Looks like it was all nip and tuck between the top 3.

The lake looked good on Fishing Gurus last night.
Pellet waggler and lob worm, I’ll have to give that a go.

  • Well done Andy, another win to add to the 40 million he’s had this year alone.

    Can I make a suggestion? If 11 on why not use 4, 6, 9, 14, 16, 18, 22, 26, 29, 32, 34 to avoid end peg dominance that appears to be regular?

Only an idea. I don’t want to start the great debate!

    • I suspect there were a few freelancers on the big lake.

I bet John Draper felt like a piece on Cod at the end, well battered on both sides!

      • Just peg round them, wont affect the match if you have a pleasure angler sandwiched in the middle. if anything when then pack up and lump their remaining bait in you get a pre made margin flier!

        • Thought you didn’t want to start a debate!
Last Saturday I was sandwiched between Chris on 9 and Malc on 25. Very lonely, only Pauline to chat to when she took Oli for a stroll.

      • the only pleasure angler was peg 34

problem was it was all in the small lake then a few came last minute which didnt help (like me)

those fish soon work it out, even when wind is blowing into little lake they come out into big lake to swim in peace

        • i’ve seen it happen, all swimming in the same direction!

          see ya!

          • tbh I bet you’d have done 200lb out of peg 10 yesterday it was solid

amazing how many tiddles caught yesterday, 12 in my net for 56lb!

not even 5lb each average. I had 5 for 14lb! Whos been stocking em from Pans?

    • 9, 6 and 32 would destroy it pegged like that barring a strong wind in one end

  • Thats the last time I give Andy a piece of my good luck as he touched my draw hand then pulled flyer peg 9 out leaving me rubbish peg 7 lol.
He fished really well as he had 198lb on the board.
John Draper should be a getaway driver as I have never seen anyone leave the lake that fast lol.

    • My favourite peg that is Eddie….. solid with fish what were you doing?

last time i drew was 1985…… feels like that anyway.

    • You still had more than double Johns weight so should get 2 points for that.

    • I don’t like having that many on the board as it always raises eyebrows regardless of what anyone says.

unfortunately I weighed 8 that were just under 10lb

whereas Jon D put 11lb ers in his net and that REALLY cheered him up when eddie pulled them out and put em back LOL!!

  • Andy thats the last time I give you my luck.
If you had not got up 18 times to weigh fish you would of caught 400lb lol.

  • definitely counter acted the luck by rubbing your hand too many times for the weekend

back to usual last night at pans – complete dog s*it lol
