Jinx Match 1. 11th May 2013
Rain, rain and more rain, oh and thunder, lightening and hail. A good sign the Jinx Series had started.
I think its quite clear where the fish were on the day by the results but that’s the way it goes at rolfs sometimes.
Mickey made good use of no one being on peg 4 to take A section and his 2nd 300lb+ weight in 2 days, well done. Maybe you will not drawn an end peg one day 😛
B Section was always going to be between peg 8, 32 and 9 but despite big weights coming from peg 9 and 32 in the night match they failed to produce in the day time and Malc Doyle fishing on peg 8 too the section win.
C Section was a bit bleak to be honest. Steve, Mat and Neil were the only ones having regular bites while the other 4 really struggled. Simon’s first carp was a 21lb’er which lightened the frustration somewhat. In the end last years series winner came through to take the section win.

The next match is in 2 weeks time, hopefully the fish will have spread around the lake making things a bit more even and mikey might draw with 2 people either side of him for a change.
Thanks for reading. Simon, Eddie and John.
It was good to fish along side the Jinxster, always a very sociable group. Thanks for inviting me to make up the numbers Malc. That’s about all I did on the day! apart from hanging on to my brolly to stop it doing a Mary Poppins.
I have decided I am rubbish at trying to play fish left handed so it’s off to the Doc’s tomorrow.
Caitlin is a real sweetie, just like Mum & Dad.
18-22 “No Carp Corner”?
Peg 13 fished well in no carp bay…….
I wondered what you were doing with that carp sorry Mick, didn’t realise you had a injury.
Frozen shoulder and tennis elbow in the same arm = painful fishing.
Playing them left handed is not something I would want to do too often. That reminds me to ring the Doc’s for an appointment.
Back from the Doc’s, a month on pain killers, then may be steroid injections, could take up to a year for full recovery! (Sod that.)
Mick what you on about no carp corner, I saw you hook a carp, the fact you were not good enough to land it should not put the corner down lol
I only lost that monster cos you were beating me over the head with your stick shouting “Let me have a go, it’s been a long time!”
about time you started getting fish micky mr end peg
Sadly my “End Peg” was at the wrong end.
I should be there next Wednesday Mick, work permitting I will show you which end is the wrong end trust me!
Going for my 5th consecutive draw this year in you know where…….
Coming from u Paul u joker
Well done Mike. A great weight!!
