  • hi eddie or simon have picture of twenty pounder will text it to you if u would like to put it on site thanks

  • Hi John if you can send it to me via email i will put it on the site straight away .
Well done for catching your first Rolfslake 20lb er was it a common or mirror it would of made your day for sure.

  • it was a common eddie steves was 20lb 8ozcommon well done to john walker

  • Great match today. Carp fed lon and off today so silver weights were typically 30 – 45 minutes per angler and so were low. Some massive perch showing on the short lines with many over 2lb.
John B had a great match and caught well short on the bush of 8. He lost some good fish that cost him the match but had to fish right into the roots of the bush on 8.

  • Well done for the win today Jon and a double sweep with the silvers pools as well.
I have added a silvers peg king board for the forthcoming league matches so you are already on it.
Lets see the first angler to catch 50lb of silvers or to beat what i can remember as the top silver weight at Rolfslake of 58lb caught by Mick Wilkinson about 8 years ago. I used one of your slim pencil floats on Wednesday and they worked a treat for catching fish on the drop.

  • I have quite a few new patterns of late. Some new materials, custom spring eyes, new thin super strong hollow tips and a new “perfection” paint job! 3 new silver fish patterns strong enough for 20lb carp”
I will give you some to take some pictures!

I think the record for silvers is over 60lb? Peg 8 with worm on the chub?

  • Well done Jon on the win.
Congrats Mr Hague and Steve for the 20lb’ers 🙂
Did anyone get a picture of Steve’s fish.

  • cheers simon no one got a picture of steves fish he catches them for fun where my 20 was my first so made sure i got aphoto took by steve both lovely fish in great condition nice to see u took my advice for silver fish peg king how about perch king roach king chub king etc

  • Bloody Hell John, you forgot the Skimmer King 😛

  • Well done Johns 🙂

  • Two stonking great 20lber’s, Well done to you both.
Wouldn’t fancy hooking one of them on a 3m whip! (I tried tying a size 18 yesterday, FIDDLEY or what!)
Anyone know the weight of the biggest Carp out this season, I seem to recall John Walker getting a 24lber off peg 38 (think he had x3 20’s that day.)
EDDIE/SIMON could you amend the MATCH CALENDER some of the draw times are shown as 12.00 fish 1-6, which might catch a few out or deter them from coming as it’s as dark as the black hole of Calcutta by then.
    Keep on catching, Chaps.
