New Theme

I have put a new theme on the blog to try.

It is by the same guy that made the last theme that we have been using for some time now. This is his latest work.

New Server

We have moved server location. The server is now UK based so you should notice an increase in speed. Images and Pages should load a lot quicker. Although most photo’s are hosted at photobucket so the speed they appear on here is governed by photobucket itself.

There were a few problems migrating but everything should be fine now.

SILVER FISH ONLY MATCHES on saturdays

We shall be holding silver fish only matches on Saturdays, starting on the 6th November the day before the start of the winter league and when we have a Sunday open, the open match on a Saturday will be a silver fish only match.

I hope these will show another side to Rolfs Lake, and unlock the massive potential of the silvers in the lake, also it may introduce a influx of different anglers to these matches.

PLEASE SUBMIT ANY COMMENTS POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE SO I CAN GAUGE THE LEVEL OF SUPPORT FOR THIS IDEA.

This Coming Open Match.

This Saturdays (2nd October) Draw time is now 12pm, fishing 1pm-6pm. This due to it getting dark early. All opens from now on will be fished to these times.

Yesterdays open match was very hard indeed. Only 5 people turned up due to the bad weather.

Everyone was struggling for bites. Dave Whiteman fishing from peg 9 came out on top with 59lb with John Bennett on peg 4 second with 42lb.

The pegs were black with fish before the match but once the match started the rain started and never stopped !
