FISHING AT THE LAKE OVER THE WEEKEND

I HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL TOMORROWS OPEN MATCH DUE TO THE EXSTREME OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES, I WILL BE GOING DOWN THE LAKE MID MORNING TO HAVE A LOOK AND BREAK SOME ICE.

THE THICKNESS OF THE ICE IS  NOT REALY A PROBLEM AS REGUARDS THE SPRING PAIRS MATCH AS WE HAVE BROKEN ICE IN MUCH COLDER CONDITIONS.

,HOWEVER WITH THE FORCAST OF SNOW DEPENDING ON WHICH WEATHER REPORT YOU LOOK AT, WITH A POSSIBLE 5 INCHES OR MORE I HAVE TO CONSIDER TRAVELLING CONDITIONS, I WOULD NOT LIKE TO PUT ANYBODY IN AN UNSAFE SITUATION, SO KEEPING A LOOK ON THE WEATHER REPORTS I WILL MAKE A DECISION BY 5-30 TOMORROW.

I WILL HOLD AN OPEN ON THE LAKE FOR THE INTREPID ( OR DAFT) ANGLERS WHO ARE DETERMINED TO GET OUT

The results pages, Peg Info and Gallery now open in new windows. This was to get rid of the iframes and to give each page a lot more room. Working on a new Gallery also.

When on the new pages just click the Banner to get back to the blog.

EDIT ** Added Highslide to the 2011 results page to save go back and forth through pages.

Upcoming Open Matches

There are 2 Open match coming up. One on Saturday 30th April and one on Monday 2nd May.

Draw time for both matches is 11am fishing is from 12pm to 5pm.

Jenna Mackellar with a 17lb 12oz carp

 

The smile says it all

Liam Barry let his Girlfriend Jenna have a go on Tuesday she ended up catching this 17lb 12oz common.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jenna was fishing on peg 18 with top 2 and short 4 to the bush on the left feeding 6m pellet with corn on the hook
