Real big weights now on the cards.<\/p>\n

Today saw the culmination of all the hard work that John, Pauline and Dai have been doing down the lake these last 8 weeks.<\/p>\n

The weights have been getting bigger and bigger with carp to nearly 20lb coming out in weights to 300lb recently and today’s match was the best so far.<\/p>\n

Today’s match saw a triple a double and 5 ton weights to show what the lake is capable of and I am sure that a rare 400lb weight is possible on the right day.<\/p>\n

Todays winner was Middy sponsored Andy Quarmby who was drawn on end peg 4 at the bottom of the small lake.<\/p>\n

Andy fished long down the right hand edge and in front at 6 metres to catch his carp and had 10 big carp for 13lb towards the end fishing close in.<\/p>\n

After 5 hours Andy recorded the highest weight down the lake this year at 338-07 and I am sure he enjoyed his day ( well done Andy ).<\/p>\n

There was a close battle for second place between Andy Rayment and Micheal Corsini on pegs 8 and 7 which was won by Andy with 216-12 to Micheal’s 187-10<\/p>\n
