Today saw a well attended Wednesday open with anglers getting one last fish before the end of the year.<\/p>\n
Today the anglers were split into 3 sections of 5 , 5 and 6 anglers so you could even collect money if you came third in A or B Section. With the anglers having to cope with a strong pole breaking wind most anglers opted to fish with the bomb rod and sit it out and wait for bites.<\/p>\n
Today’s winner was Andy Walker did just that putting a nice bag of big carp from peg 4 which weighed 64-12 but was kept on his toes by Keenan Cook on 5 who was one big carp back with 50-10. Geoff Bond continued his good form down the lake winning the silvers from this section with 9-09.<\/p>\n
In B section Will Drinkwater won the carp top weight with a carp of 12-00 with John Bennett winning the silvers again with 6-15.<\/p>\n
There was a close battle in C Section where Gordon Worrell won the carp weight with 63-04 but there was a close battle for the silvers with Andy Johnstone beating Tony Simpson with his weight of 14-14 to Tony 13-10.<\/p>\n
