The 29th of January will see the first pairs competition fished at the lake, and for the first 12 teams of two to apply\u00a0it will hopefully be a change from the tried and tested teams of three league.<\/p>\n

John has given me a provisional list of pairs which will need to be confirmed as soon as possible as this series will be limited to 12 pairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

If all these pairs are confirmed to John then it only leaves places for two more pairs.<\/p>\n

There will be a reserve list available for anglers that would like to be considered to fish if required.This is for anglers who are available to fish as substitute for anglers and pairs unable to fish each round.<\/p>\n

The series will be fished over 6 matches with teams being able to drop their worst result leaving the results to be decided over the 5 best scoring rounds.<\/p>\n

The matches will be held over the following dates.<\/p>\n

29th January<\/p>\n

5th Feb<\/p>\n

19th Feb<\/p>\n

4th March<\/p>\n

11th March<\/p>\n

25th March.<\/p>\n

The cost of entering a team will be \u00a320 per angler = \u00a340 per team<\/p>\n

There will be\u00a0a \u00a320 per angler pools on the day { minus peg fees }\u00a0and both team members must enter this on the day as there will\u00a0only be a top 3 teams payout on the day.<\/p>\n

Both the big and small lake will be used for this series which will be divided into 4 sections A,B,C and D and this will be explained on the morning of the first round.<\/p>\n

The anglers will be able to use both pole and rod in this series.<\/p>\n

If there is a maximum 12 team attendance then the payouts will be as follows.<\/p>\n

24 anglers paying \u00a320 pools per round = \u00a3480 – \u00a38 per peg peg fees 24x \u00a38 = \u00a3192 and this leaves \u00a3 288 to be paid per round.<\/p>\n

The winning team per round gets \u00a3120<\/p>\n

The second team per round gets\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a398<\/p>\n

The third team per round gets\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a370<\/p>\n

There will be no section winners payouts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The series payout.<\/p>\n

24 anglers x \u00a320 entrance money = \u00a3480 to be paid out<\/p>\n

The winning team of the series will be paid \u00a3210<\/p>\n

The runners up will be paid \u00a3150<\/p>\n

The third placed team will be paid \u00a3120<\/p>\n

THIS IS DEPENDANT ON 12 TEAMS OF TWO<\/strong>, if there are less than twelve teams then the payout will be reduced accordingly.<\/p>\n

If a team\u00a0was to win\u00a0the 6 rounds and the series then their payout could be \u00a3930 payout.<\/p>\n
