A good turnout at the lake today for a rare Sunday open match. 22 anglers turned up. Fishing was from 11.15 till 4.15. With Ginger on peg 8 most people had already set themselves up to win the section they were fishing because all thought he would win the match as he normally does from peg 8.<\/p>\n

On the all in I had a fish right away as did a lot of people but after the first hour people were really struggling for a bite. Paul Jay on peg 34 had already been trashed in the lilies.<\/p>\n

For the rest of the match the only people really catching well was Simon Enticot on peg 28, Ginger on peg 8 and Malc on peg 13. Pat on peg 4 had a steady run of fish throughout the match as did Kev over on peg 38.<\/p>\n

The results tell the rest of the Story. Most people tipped back so the weights on the results are those from the weigh sheets. It was a close match though.<\/p>\n
