Today saw a mini open in the big lake as there was a memorial match on the small lake.<\/p>\n

There were many fish hooked and lost as the carp were in a feeding mood.<\/p>\n

Top weight today was Steve Wilson on peg 14 who fished waggler and pole to catch fish to double figures in his weight of 111-07.<\/p>\n

Steve fished both margins to speed up his catch rate.<\/p>\n

Top carp of the day went to slim who had a lovely 20lb common but even topping that was Gary on peg 24 who caught the first tench seen at the lake in 10 years.<\/p>\n
