Another big weight required to win todays match.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

With the weather getting a little cooler the weights were expected to slow down, but today the big carp never got the memo.<\/p>\n

Today’s winner and showing a great exhibition of big carp hauling was venue regular Mick Jones fishing peg 26.<\/p>\n

Mick fished the margins by the little bush to his right and was rewarded with big fish to 19lb, in fact his board weight at weigh-in time went 12 fish for 186lb and together with his net fish went 218-14.<\/p>\n

There was a 3 way chase for second place between Dave Wilsden on 13, John Draper on 32 and me on 22 with Dave W just getting there with his weight of 124-03.<\/p>\n

Too carp of the day went to John Draper who caught a beautiful 21lb common.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
