28 Anglers turned up today to fish the Good Friday Bank Holiday Open Match. The sun was blazing and fish were up in the water again all over the lake.

Gary Horn Invitation Match Thursday21st April 2011

Today saw 20+ anglers come down to Rolfslake for Gary Horns Invitation Match. The weather was a warm sunny day and the anglers were spread in both the small and big lake with most anglers wanting to draw pegs 8 or 18 as they had shown really good form of late.

My website partner Simon was down on the lake fishing today and he told me after a slow start the fish went on the feed as it got later with many big fish putting in an appearance around the lake which is a good sign for the forthcoming Good Friday open and the Easter Festival.
