Top job on the weigh in everyone. 4 people weighing in out of 15 anglers while everyone else was drinking tea and coffee at the hut. Even Mick Chappell who is 60 odd lifted his own nets out while the only thing the others lifted was thier cups….. Poor effort …. 🙁

  • Really poor on the 11 anglers that did not get involved in the weighing in, it takes no time if everyone get stuck in.
John next time leave the ern off so they cannot have a cup of tea until all the work is completed.

  • There should be a rule that says if you are not at your peg to lift out your nets….you dont get weighed in!

  • what a cheeky fecker, I’ve lost count the amount of times Phil Powell and myself have done the weigh in. Riddler there should also also be a rule that people who hook 20lb carp up the arse put them back !!!!!

  • The league is for all 15 anglers and they should all play their part regardless.
I have lost count of the times i have weighed fish and i have’nt even fished the match so it was not targeted at anyone in particular it was targeted at everyone.
As for 20lb fish caught up the arse well played Neil if it was you i would love to hook a twenty anywhere if it meant i could finally catch one.

    • yes, Eddie.. it was me who had a 20-8 common hooked in the tail..15 minutes from the end and i landed it right on the whistle..it looked huge!….well chuffed 🙂

  • I hope you took a photo Neil.

  • I dont think anything over 20lb should count, Good God we’ll be setting up with Bivvy’s and buzzer bars next.
Most unfair on those of us that cant catch 20lbers!

    • you’re not jealous, Michael… are you?

      • YEP!
I only seem to get them up to 191/2lb (I simply must start using bigger lumps of meat!)
Good luck to all in the next round of the winter league on Sunday.
I have now gone into my winter hibination, hopefully Christmas will bring me some new kit to use come spring time (Mind you I have got Crocus coming up in the garden already so perhaps I will be back before sooner rather than later.)
