In form Dan Blackwell on fire at the moment.

Continuing his good form of late was Dan Blackwell who today was fishing peg 7 in the small lake.

Dan started on the bomb and then switched between fishing short and down the edge to catch a mixed bag of carp and bream.

Dan fished pellet to catch carp to just double figure to just stay ahead of Jamie Amer who was fishing on peg 4 as Dan had 149-07 to Jamie’s 147-00.

Completing the frame was John Draper who was fishing in the middle on peg 5 who had the 3rd ton weight of the day with 121-05.

I would expect the weights to now rocket as the fish start to settle down after spawning.
