Well done to Pat Pritchard who won his First open match and beat his personal best match weight too. Phil Powell in second place also included a 22lb 12oz carp in his weight. Superb well done

I was tickled pink to pull peg 4 out of the draw bag. I even managed to run round there quicker than John got to peg 7 with his new motorised tackle trolley! (I wonders if ASDA have noticed they are a trolley shor now.)
I had a rather frustrting day though, far too many lost fish (I know a good angler would have done a 300lb+)
Well done Pat, a fine performance.
Does anyone know how many 20lb+ Carp have come out this year? Seems to be at least one a match. Cracking fish.
Hope the evening match goes well tonight. I had thought about entering, then I saw the weather forecast! So I will settle for the Saturday Open instead.
